RER Solutions, Inc. is accepting resumes for a detail-oriented Business/System Support Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and ongoing operation of a DOE owned loan application and monitoring system. The Business/System Support Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users, translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements while also providing day-to-day system support and user assistance.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of related professional experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Application Support Analyst
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for enterprise systems or financial applications
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices
  • Experience providing end-user system support in a production environment
  • Ability to create clear documentation, process diagrams, and functional specifications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with loan application systems is preferred
  • Experience with Jira is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for loan application and monitoring workflows
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and working group sessions
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements, user stories, and process flows
  • Translate business needs into clear, testable, system requirements for development and configuration teams
  • Support system design reviews, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Assist with prioritization of enhancements, defect resolution, and release planning as needed
  • Ensure requirements align with business processes, regulatory requirements, and operational needs
  • Serve as a point of contact for user questions, access requests, and system issues
  • Document and track incidents, service requests, and enhancements using a ticketing system
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures
  • Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer activities as needed
  • Coordinate with technical teams to resolve system defects and performance issues
