The position is responsible for managing the translation of business requirements into technical interpretations, ensuring alignment with departmental needs and the organization's strategy. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to define operational needs, designing and executing projects to improve application usage, and translating technical information into meaningful data for strategic planning. The individual will provide guidance on projects impacting departmental operations and will work both independently and as part of a multi-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the translation of business requirements into technical interpretations.
• Ensure alignment with departmental business needs and organizational strategy.
• Collaborate with departmental subject matter experts to define operational business needs.
• Design and execute projects to improve application usage and efficiencies.
• Translate technical information into non-technical data for strategic planning.
• Work with various applications and departments to extract data for standardized solutions.
• Provide guidance and technical advice on projects impacting departmental operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HIM Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in a large, multi-hospital health system.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Power BI, ProDiver, and Tableau.
• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Strong working knowledge of data manipulation, analysis, engineering, and validation.
• Proven experience as a data administrator in the information technology sector.
• Solid technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
