The Business Support Manager (Project Hire) plays a crucial role in managing financial responsibilities within Yellow Shoes, an in-house agency at Disney. This position is responsible for coordinating and preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, as well as assisting in the Annual Operating Plan forecasting. The role involves collaboration with various financial leads and key leadership to enhance organizational efficiency in financial management and provide training on finance-specific protocols.

  • Lead, prepare, and report quarterly forecasts for project budgets, ensuring all spending is on track and identifying unallocated funds or savings.
  • Calculate quarterly program amortization and prepare cause of change analysis and other reports for consolidation and reporting.
  • Manage year-end reporting and all accruals.
  • Liaise within Yellow Shoes to ensure all financial and budgetary needs are vetted and validated at appropriate project lifecycle stages.
  • Collaborate on maintenance and reporting of Yellow Shoes support costs.
  • Assist with PO support and shopping cart management as needed.
  • Provide assistance with historical financial reporting for Yellow Shoes and DX segment.
  • Coordinate with the business affairs team on questions regarding contracts, MSAs, and vendor information.
  • Review payment documents and invoices for accuracy before inputting into SAP or Coupa for payment.
  • Lead budget process tutorials for key stakeholders twice yearly and for new cast members at Yellow Shoes.
  • Work with DX segment leadership to maintain efficiency with ticketing and barter programs.
  • Facilitate competitive bid forms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and PowerPoint) and reporting applications (SAP, Coupa, Sharepoint); Workfront experience is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with solid business and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate change and respond to partner priorities with agility.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Solid project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to function independently on assigned tasks under moderate direction and supervision.
  • General knowledge of Yellow Shoes disciplinary structure (Account, Creative, Production).
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners and peers.
  • Experience in ad agency finance or marketing financial accounting.
