About The Position

Canon U.S.A., Inc. in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Business Support Assistant IV (Assistant, Business Support IV). The Business Support Assistant IV will be responsible for advanced order processing of internal, domestic, and export transactions impacting revenue recognition within a shared service operation spanning multiple sales channels. This position primary role will allow the ideal candidate to utilize their Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) in support of our Latin Order Operations in a team environment. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Your Impact Works closely and collaborates with Sales Contract Administration, Sales Support, and Business Planning to promptly resolve issues related to chargebacks and overall order processing. By integrating various operational functions, this position ensures maximum efficiency and effectiveness across processes. - Verifies available inventory, product pricing, and enters order adjustments into the system, along with other charges in a timely manner - Checks for back orders and partial shipments - Assists clients with inquiries, resolves problems, and complaints - Ensures follow up on the order processing cycle - Reviews the status of orders by checking sales reports, daily reservations, shipping deadlines, monthly closings, daily emissions and allocations - Requests special shipping instructions if necessary, to ensure immediate emissions/delivery and coordinating with the Logistics Department - Coordinates with Account Executives as to the status, requirements, conditions, funds verification, and credit limits of distributors

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 4 to 6 years of related experience
  • MS Office experience
  • Communication skills is required

  • Bilingual Spanish is preferred
