About The Position

The Clerk IV position is responsible for a variety of clerical tasks that support and are associated with a particular functional area within the Company. The role involves gathering, inputting, and maintaining administrative and subject matter information for the department, as well as producing reports for departmental use. The Clerk IV may work outside of assigned duties and is expected to be an expert in their area of responsibility, planning their own daily work and working under minimal supervision. They will resolve complex problems within their area of responsibility and may recommend changes in procedures, reviewing progress and evaluating results.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 4 years directly related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle mail processing both inbound and outbound.
  • Complete data entry.
  • Serve as a backup to other clerks within the department.
  • Process orders.
  • Resolve routine questions and problems.
  • Prepare grouped materials and correspondence.
  • Order and maintain various supplies for the department.
  • Provide the department with daily and/or monthly reports.
  • Compile and record data in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with budget.
  • Receive and direct calls.
  • Serve as a point of quality control for department data and records.
  • Maintain extremely confidential documents.
  • Track and communicate data with all levels of employees.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
