Job Description: The Consumer Transformation team is responsible for delivering responsible growth by leading the planning and execution of OpEx and large Risk initiatives requiring technology change. The Consumer Transformation team analyzes call types and client insights to identify enhancements to improve client experience, drive digital adoption, increase automation and reduce call volume. The Associate Facing Solutions team within Consumer Transformation manages desktop applications and platform integration to improve servicing through new capabilities and streamlining process inefficiencies. The team is accountable for the desktop platform strategy & planning, roadmap and project execution in partnership with key partners (Technology and Business partners across the enterprise), and manages cross-functional initiatives that improve performance. The Business Strategy & Initiative Manager role reports to the head of Associate Facing Solutions and will be responsible for leading new cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution and delivery, supporting automation and AI initiatives from a desktop and CSR perspective, and communicating the initiative narrative and improvements to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading cross-functional, strategic initiatives to deliver high impact outcomes.
  • Expert communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written), able to concisely summarize key observations, clearly articulate considerations, and propose solutions and next steps.
  • Ability to translate complex business concepts into a simple narrative.
  • Highly effective with PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to collaborate and engage across functions and business lines and build strong working relationships with business partners at all levels of management – be someone others want to work with
  • Ability to succeed in in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, with multiple priorities, and limited supervision.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity; be a self-starter.
  • Flexible.
  • Proactive and self-driven, yet also be willing to change direction
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, research skills and the ability to formulate solutions independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-visibility initiatives simultaneously
  • Exhibits a strong drive for results and success, demonstrates a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes, and routinely exceeds expectations.
  • Working knowledge of the annual planning process with the ability to develop and usher business cases through funding approval
  • Works in harmony among a high performing team and across key stakeholders to achieve swift adoption of ideas
  • Recent project management experience including process improvement and technology change efforts

Nice To Haves

  • Background in program management, change management and data analytics.
  • Knowledge of Consumer and Small Business organization.
  • Experience in contact centers and/or financial centers.

Responsibilities

  • Create a clear, strategic approach to guide effective program management, execution and control
  • Track milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to use sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • Integrate knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processes
  • Develop, maintain and report on an overall integrated delivery plan and able to communicate at the senior executive level
  • Define and drive the strategic roadmap for enterprise capabilities in partnership with business and technology stakeholders to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on strategic alignment, feasibility, and return on investment
  • Lead the creation and delivery of robust project plans with ongoing reporting to highlight progress to goal and results for the associate-facing desktop platform
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements that guide design and development.
  • Facilitate collaboration and coordination across teams to explore and prioritize opportunities.
  • Leverage CSR feedback and top opportunities to create a strategic roadmap and communicate story effectively
  • Partner with frontline lines of business, business partners and Technology to drive results and ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Operate as strategic liaison, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business goals
  • Oversee execution across multiple initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of automation — from strategic planning and requirements definition to execution and delivery.
  • Ensures that all capabilities are aligned with Consumer goals, meet associate needs, and are delivered on time.
  • Mentor project owners for effective program delivery
  • Champion a culture of innovation and agility.
  • Innovate and collaborate on tactical and strategic solutions for business needs/problems.
