Job Description: This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners. We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded Business Strategy & Initiative Manager to support the Client Services Resource Planning and Optimization business through a unique blend of strategic communication, work prioritization and execution, as well as significant partner engagement. This role plays a central part in capturing and showing team accomplishments, building compelling senior executive-level presentations, and executing on the delivery of strategic change management initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategies and processes in close collaboration with operational executives, key stakeholders, and internal partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong organizational and communication skills and is equally comfortable shaping a narrative to be utilized for verbal or written communication at varying levels.

  • Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
  • Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
  • Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
  • Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes

  • Drive project management across internal RPO initiatives and cross business efforts ensuring clear objectives, timeline and deliverables are achieved, ensuring RPO is well informed of change management
  • Define, develop and execute strategic initiatives that advance key business priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor performance, risks and milestones across initiatives and operational processes, ensuring timely adjustments and successful delivery
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional partners and stakeholders to align strategies, requirements, and execution plans across the business
  • Influence decision-making by synthesizing complex data and insights into clear recommendations that guide leadership direction
  • Communicate strategies, progress and impacts through strong verbal storytelling and high-quality presentations tailored to executive (B3 & B2) and stakeholder audiences
  • Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes to challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
  • 5+ plus years experience of formal program / project management experience including familiarity with Bank of America Change Management Framework, including UCRA risk assessment, PPRT, CAST, MS Project, Agile practices
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate complex problems into clear strategies, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills to interpret data, identify insights, assess risks, and make informed recommendations that influence direction
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities, including the capacity to build trust, align cross-functional teams and drive consensus across diverse partners
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written and presentation, with prove ability to synthesize complex information into concise, compelling narratives for executive audiences
  • Project and initiative execution expertise, including prioritization, timeline management, issue escalation and the agility to adjust plans in a dynamic environment
  • Curiosity: To clearly understand the “why” of what is being delivered, how it is constructed, and who the customer is. A clear underlying understanding of business motivation as well as up and downstream implications must be developed.
  • Creativity: The ability to think through ideas, entertain various perspectives and come up with novel ways to tackle problems is highly valued.
