About The Position
The Business Solutions Partner (BSP) will support the City of Lakewood (City)’s Business Transformation Division by delivering practical technical solutions and with furthering the IT department’s goal to be an innovative and results-oriented center of excellence and team of one. The successful candidate will apply project, program, and product management experience to foster excellent working relationships with their IT teammates and other city departments to deliver innovative, user-centric technology solutions. They will primarily manage small-medium sized IT projects from concept to implementation and ongoing management and evolution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and best practices. They may, as needed, assist the Senior Business Solutions Partner in managing larger IT projects, programs, and initiatives, from concept inception through asset retirement and will act on opportunities for innovation and improved productivity. They will regularly liaise with the IT Department to ensure end-user solutions are aligned with strategic goals, reflective of industry trends and best practices, and are delivered in a timely fashion.
