The position involves providing ongoing support including incident management, administration, performance monitoring, and configuration to business applications including products by Trimble, HCSS, and AutoDesk. The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors across E-Infrastructure and Transportation segments. The individual will engage proactively with business units to understand their challenges and business needs, identifying opportunities where technology solutions can drive operational improvements. Regular alignment sessions with IT and segment business leaders will be facilitated to review demand and prioritize technology initiatives based on business impact and alignment to both Operational objectives and Sterling's Technology roadmap. Collaboration with vendors to identify innovative solutions and industry best practices is essential. The individual will stay informed about vendor roadmaps and upcoming features, advocating for Sterling's interests in product development decisions. Troubleshooting efforts will be led to resolve complex issues in collaboration with vendors and IT support teams. Recommendations and implementations of enhancements to maximize functionality and user experience will be part of the role. Comprehensive, up-to-date documentation on system configurations, processes, and support procedures must be maintained. The individual will coordinate application updates and patches to minimize business disruption and partner with vendors, systems, and application teams for application implementation and upgrade projects. Additionally, partnering with development resources to ensure proper integration with existing systems and data sources is required.
