The position involves serving as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, establishing and maintaining relationships with Accounts Payable business partners, and providing effective technical solutions. Responsibilities include conducting data gathering and analysis, contributing to business planning sessions, assessing client needs, developing business requirements, analyzing customer operations, assisting in business process redesign, and executing test cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in IT, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in Information Technology or a related position.
  • Experience with SAP ERP for Accounts Payable, General Ledger, tax compliance, reporting, and change management.
  • Experience supporting international accounts payable processing.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies using Jira.
  • Experience with indirect procurement processes on the Ariba platform.
  • Knowledge of Esker for settings configuration and table maintenance.
  • Experience supporting multiple accounts payable workflow systems through Metastorm or BPM tools.
  • Familiarity with ANSI X12 EDI documents, specifically 810, 812, 820, 852, and 867.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization.
  • Establish and maintain liaison relationships with Accounts Payable business partners.
  • Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.
  • Contribute to business short- and long-term planning sessions.
  • Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process.
  • Develop, write, and communicate business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Analyze customer operations to identify strengths and weaknesses.
  • Assist in business process redesign and documentation for new technology.
  • Provide factual content to feasibility studies for development projects.
  • Develop user test cases and conduct system integration testing.
  • Review and approve test plans and monitor testing processes.
  • Investigate problems and develop resolutions.
  • Analyze performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
