About The Position

The Business Solution Specialist is responsible for researching, developing, designing and implementing solution designs within our client environments. The Business Solution Specialist is considered a technical thought leader within the sales and service team. The Business Solution Specialist will collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to bring effective business technology solutions to our clients.

Requirements

  • Workflow, business process improvement strategies
  • Extensive knowledge of Electronic Document Management (EDM), best practices and industry leading document workflow solutions
  • Managed Print Services
  • MFP technology and solutions supporting MFP’s
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint
  • 10+ years relevant and progressive IT experience, including executive level leadership experience and strategic planning
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Detailed orientated
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screen.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Light to moderate lifting required
  • Regular, predictable attendance required
  • Travel to other Standley Systems offices and customer sites during normal business hours required

  • Speak with authority about the market needs, must be credible with customers, and must be able to articulate the business value and ROI to a variety of audiences at different levels.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external professional relationships that meet our core values.
  • Prepare solutions for and evaluate technology needs based on client technology requirements
  • Translate business and technical requirements into client workflow solutions to meet client needs
  • Oversee new implementations, integrations and deployments
  • Build and deliver customer proposals
  • Maintain accurate and updated info in CRM
  • Maintain a high level of industry, technology and competitive expertise
  • Demonstrates the following leadership qualities: o Business maturity and consultative skills (problem solving, negotiation, assessment, speaking/presentations, technical writing, listening, facilitation, project management, ability to influence, and management of billable work.
