About The Position

The Department of Fish and Wildlife's Northern Region Inland Fisheries Program has an opening for a Business Service Officer I (Supervisor) in the Northern Region Headquarters office in Redding. The incumbent will provide technical direction to hatchery staff for procuring IT and non-IT goods in accordance with the State Administrative Manual, State Contracting Manual Vol. 1 and 2, Department policy and Regional directives. Provide technical direction to direct reports on entering invoice data into FI$CAL to receive goods and create vouchers for payment. Hire, train, lead, develop and manage subordinate staff. Approve monthly time sheets, travel expense claims, training requests, purchase requests and fuel reports. Please refer to the Duty Statement for specific duties and functions. In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam. Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Data entry experience and experience operating Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
