About The Position

As a Business Sales Account Manager at Verizon, you will leverage your sales experience and customer relations skills to deliver innovative business solutions that enhance connectivity for businesses. Your role will involve identifying and developing leads, managing existing accounts, and consulting with customers to address their business challenges. You will be responsible for driving sales through various techniques, including cold-calling and social selling, while maintaining relationships with key decision-makers. This position requires a strong understanding of wireless and mobility products, as well as the ability to present multi-product solutions effectively. You will also track your progress using sales force automation tools and have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary with commission incentives based on performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within the assigned geographic sales territory.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience.
  • Experience in technology sales, including SaaS sales and CRM tools.
  • Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and qualify leads within the assigned territory.
  • Drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead-generation campaigns.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate customers on innovative business solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions.
  • Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.
