About The Position

As a Business Sales Account Manager at Verizon, you will leverage your sales experience and customer relations skills to deliver innovative business solutions that enhance connectivity for businesses. Your role will involve hunting for new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and consulting with customers to identify their challenges and recommend tailored solutions. You will be responsible for developing leads, retaining customers, and coordinating with support partners to educate clients on leveraging innovative solutions. This position requires a confident understanding of wireless and mobility products, as well as the ability to track and report sales progress using various automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within the assigned geographic sales territory (up to 50% travel).
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Technology sales experience, including SaaS sales experience and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and qualify leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate customers about innovative business solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions.
  • Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.
