About The Position

The Business Sales Account Executive at Ziply Fiber is responsible for generating sales within a designated territory focused on small businesses. The position emphasizes building relationships and providing exceptional customer experiences while meeting sales performance expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months of sales and/or customer service experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, or Finance) or current/prior military service.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to handle rejection and provide exceptional customer service.

• Experience in community engagement and networking.
• Familiarity with telecommunications or internet services.

Responsibilities

• Drive creative sales strategies to increase awareness and penetration in small and mid-sized businesses.
• Host events within the assigned territory to encourage sign-ups for Ziply Fiber services.
• Travel outside the assigned territory to participate in team-wide sales events, up to 25% of working days.
• Engage actively with local organizations such as Chambers of Commerce.
• Participate in e-learning and classroom sales training with the Sales Trainer.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales performance expectations.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on offer strategy and communication.
• Perform financial responsibilities including tracking operational expenses and processing reimbursements.
• Monitor industry developments and apply critical thinking for strategic analysis.
