About The Position

The Business Risk Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role focused on the timely execution of the Managers Control Assessment (MCA) program. This position requires a solid understanding of risk management and compliance, integrating specialty area knowledge with industry standards. The analyst will apply analytical thinking and data analysis methodologies to assess risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, impacting the effectiveness of the team and related functions.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance, audit, or regulatory functions.
• Experience with various risk and control systems and reporting requirements.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to change.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate plans into actions.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Managers Control Assessment (MCA) program in a timely manner.
• Plan, test, and report on key controls identified for each product line.
• Liaise with business and line control officers regarding deficiencies or control gaps and ensure remedial actions are implemented.
• Document, implement, and execute Corrective Action Plans (CAP) for managing control issues.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Drive compliance with policies and apply ethical judgment in business practices.
• Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively.
