About The Position
FM is a leading property insurer of the world's largest businesses, providing more than one-third of FORTUNE 1000-size companies with engineering-based risk management and property insurance solutions. The Business Risk Consultant role is pivotal in enhancing FM's relationships with clients by improving the awareness of key business drivers through quantitative analysis. This position aims to increase client retention and attract new business by offering a range of risk consulting services tailored to both FM clients and client service teams. The consultant will engage with senior client management to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business models, critical processes, and profit drivers, ultimately analyzing and mitigating risks associated with these elements. The responsibilities of the Business Risk Consultant include providing general risk advisory services, conducting business impact analyses, and supporting enterprise risk management (ERM) and business continuity management. The consultant will also offer financial risk support services, assist in quantifying insured values, and deliver training to FM clients. A significant aspect of the role involves conducting financial modeling and analysis to quantify the financial impact of disruption-related risks on client operations. By elevating clients' awareness of their critical business risks and exposures, the consultant will provide business-focused resilience strategies and solve property-related risk management issues. Additionally, the consultant will create opportunities for client services teams to engage with senior and executive management, reinforcing FM's position as a strategic partner. The role also includes delivering training courses on various topics, such as insurable values reporting and supply chain exposure analysis, to showcase the value-adding services FM can provide. This position requires a proactive approach to client engagement and a strong understanding of risk management principles.
