About The Position
The Business Product Owner Advisor at Express Scripts plays a crucial role as the primary interface between business sponsors or clients and technology teams. This position is essential for advancing high ROI and efficiency initiatives across the division and the enterprise. The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and comprehensiveness of business requirements for new and modified business applications and products. The advisor will work closely with Technical Product Owners (TPO) to gather and refine business requirements from ideation through to production and project oversight. In this capacity, the Business Product Owner Advisor will engage in various activities, including extracting requirements from business sources, facilitating discussions with technical resources to clarify business intent, and influencing the technical design of applications. The advisor will also guide technical support when necessary and will be responsible for defining and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This position requires a hybrid work model, necessitating onsite presence three days a week at a designated Cigna facility. The role demands a high level of organizational skills to manage multiple projects and applications effectively. The advisor will provide valuable insights into the technical design of both new and existing business applications, ensuring that the solutions developed align with business needs and objectives. The position is integral to the success of the business operations and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
