This position is located in Arlington, VA. Description : Seeking data analyst and systems engineer to supplement an enterprise-level Business Intelligence and Performance Reporting data management and data visualization project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems) or a related quantitative discipline that fosters problem solving, structured thought, and creativity.
  • Minimum of 5 years of quantitative analysis and problem-solving experience.
  • Requirements Generation: The analyst must have the ability to translate requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders including system owners, process owners, direct accounting data owners, end users into actionable requests for new or modified reports built from existing or newly gathered data.
  • Diverse BI Toolkit: Must be capable of supporting a team that is using a diverse toolkit including Excel, Python, SharePoint, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server, and Tableau Desktop, with new tools being rolled out in DataBricks and AWS (Amazon S3) and be able to coordinate with Business Systems owners to provide guidance on process improvements.
  • Project Support: Assist in training new team members in data management and analytics, including calculated fields, ETL pipelines, and data linking and refreshing.
  • Should have experience on project teams including support of delegated work, quality assurance reviews, project task tracking and reporting, and client management.
  • Government Financial Data: Preferred candidates would have a strong understanding of and ability to formulate key performance indicators, financial ratios, and business intelligence metrics to assist stakeholders in gaining a greater understanding of their budget formulation, planning, and execution performance.
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens
  • Active Secret Clearance Preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing and developing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions, including CI/CD implementation for data and ML workflows, UI/UX, and Data Systems architecture.
  • Experience in Federal Government, Financial Systems, Planning/Programming/Budgeting/Execution

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks (MLflow, PySpark, Delta Lake) within an AWS environment.
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL workflows integrating data from data warehouses, data lakes (Amazon S3), APIs, and enterprise financial systems.
  • Build, train, deploy, and monitor machine learning models while supporting experimentation and lifecycle management of both traditional ML and generative AI solutions within federal cloud environments.
