Moog is seeking a Business Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Blacksburg, VA. In this role, you'll work across multiple departments-including Quality Engineering, Operations, Sales, and more-to analyze and improve business processes through innovative solutions. Reporting to the Business Systems and Quality Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout our organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or PowerShell
  • Strong communication skills-both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work in teams
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical reasoning, observational analysis, attention-to-detail, emotional intelligence, and motivation to develop skills and knowledge related to multiple facets of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
  • Experience with project management is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Audit business systems and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Map current workflows and design future-state processes (process design/process development)
  • Develop and revise standard operating procedures
  • Simplify, standardize, and integrate business processes
  • Facilitate/lead cross-functional teams in improvement initiatives
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance existing and new processes
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and analysts across the organization
