About The Position

The Business Process Consultant will be instrumental in shaping and developing communication plans to drive engagement and awareness for the organization's Telephony initiatives. The Business Process Consultant will also play a pivotal role in optimizing process documentation and workflows (i.e. - creating and maintaining) in regard to project management. Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years health care, insurance or related experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience and skill in training, presenting and facilitating required.

Responsibilities

  • Writes and delivers communication to all levels of organization to ensure support, awareness and effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitates the optimization of business unit performance by enhancing alignment of policy, process and technology and designing/implementing for future business needs.
  • Supports large scale, cross-functional initiatives that are intended to drive performance improvement, financial gains, customer satisfaction and improved compliance.
  • Provides policy guidance on assigned initiatives to maximize effective implementation.
  • Performs detailed analysis of data, workflows, policies, procedures, organization of staff, skills and offers potential solutions.
  • Supports project work by utilizing project management software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Assists other project leaders in specific areas such as facilitation, analysis, process mapping, brainstorming, and project management issues.
  • Possesses and utilizes knowledge and experience leveraging IT solutions.
  • Provides other related support as needed to improve the performance of the business.
  • Assists business case development for proposed initiatives to ensure adequate assessment of opportunities, risks and return on investment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
