The Gist The Business Process Analyst (Workforce Data and Planning) supports the development of workforce strategy, workforce data models, and roadmaps for our federal client. The role works closely with our client to collect, validate, and analyze data through interviews and data collection. The Business Process Analyst will map and model organizational processes and develop business case assessments that document processes and make recommendations for future strategy. This role works cross-functionally with the data model and analytics team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business process analysis, workforce planning, analytics, or process improvement
  • Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart)
  • Experience with workforce data, workforce planning, and strategy development
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and workforce planning frameworks
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and facilitation skills
  • Will need a DHS/CBP Public Trust
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic and a self-starter
  • Active DHS Public Trust Required
  • Active DHS CBP Public Trust preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Data analytics and dashboarding experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collect workforce data relevant to business case analysis and assessments, including but not limited to human resources data (headcounts, vacancies, retirement/attrition, recruiting, skills), financial data (cost, budget), and interview/survey data.
  • Perform maturity assessments and analysis for each organization and make recommendations for business cases.
  • Map end-to-end processes for current and future state HR processes using Visio or similar technology.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and redundancies and make recommendations and proposals for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and the contractor team to collect and analyze data.
  • Work with data model team to implement findings and recommendations into an integrated data model.
  • Communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.
  • Coordinating with multiple technical teams, internal and external stakeholders, and end users
  • Experience conducting interviews with stakeholders and end users to gather pertinent information.
  • Creating visual artifacts such as user journey maps, business process flow diagrams, and interaction diagrams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
