About The Position

The analyst will be responsible for collaborating with users to define system requirements, update acquisition documents, and plan capability releases and increments for upcoming development. The individual will attend client meetings, internal meetings, and will work at client sites located in either Washington, DC or Ashburn, VA at least twice per week.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED CBP PUBLIC TRUST
  • Bachelors Degree
  • THREE (3) years of related professional experience in business process, acquisition, data analysis, or project planning.
  • Prior experience leading discussions and meetings with stakeholders up to the executive level.
  • Prepared briefing materials and concise summaries to communicate program effectiveness and progress.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex programs, including strategy, processes, systems, and data.
  • Managed multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Currently located in the Washington, DC metro area.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle framework.
  • Experience supporting information technology programs.
  • Experience related to international trade or supply chain.
  • Deep understanding of the CBP operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with user community to validate and refine operational requirements.
  • Capture desired functionality from users and document functional requirements.
  • Gather and consolidate release schedules required for product roadmap.
  • Solicit and adjudicate reviewer feedback on related acquisition documents.
  • Prepare inputs for leadership briefings on development progress and plans.
