About The Position

Working directly with business unit directors, regional presidents, finance, functional leaders and the Mobility Group President, this position takes complex business metrics and strategies and synthesizes the information into easy-to-understand deliverables. Create timelines and tracking documents (PDCA or similar), schedule meetings, manage & develop content and oversee final deliverables for numerous workstreams for Mobility Group business planning and related strategies. Develop & maintain market & business overview material (market trends, business metrics & strategies, etc.). Compile summary of market and business performance metrics including key wins, competitive announcements, and peer financial performance. Develop & maintain frequently asked questions repository, along with key messages and related Mobility Group content to support leadership during internal and external engagements. Budget management of market intelligence resources, including ensuring on-time billing. Ownership of Mobility Group's overall strategic planning process (planning, documentation, scheduling meetings, providing training / best practices) No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Southfield, MI. (Active Duty Military service members are exempt from this geographical limitation)

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in business planning, strategy, finance, engineering, sales and/or market analysis
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and sales platforms (C360, Salesforce).
  • Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs (Microsoft Copilot, Researcher, etc.)
  • Ability to leverage digital tools to develop comprehensive presentations that help drive impact analysis and decision making
  • Experience with market trends, customer expectations and economic analysis as provided by internal and external data sources
  • Experience working on projects with a global team across multiple time zones
  • Knowledge of automotive and commercial powertrain systems, driveline components and alternative propulsion (hybrid & electric) technologies and trends
  • Experience in vehicle design, testing, manufacturing, product management, product planning, and sales

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience in statistics, modeling & forecasting techniques is an added advantage. (i.e., regression, weighted modeling, etc.)
