About The Position

The Business Partnering Analyst provides SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) system administration, financial guidance, expertise, and actionable recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions across the organization as it relates to Capital Planning and Workforce and Expense Planning. This role acts as a liaison between the Finance department and assigned business units, facilitating effective information exchange, coordination of planning processes, and a deep understanding of the SAC environment and financial results. Leveraging SAC, enhance data-driven insights to drive business performance and support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training in financial analysis, business partnering, or analytics.
  • Experience with end-user training, documentation, and maintenance within an operating system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP cloud-based technology along with experience in SAP implementation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and other enablement teams to map out current processes and gather business requirements and impacts for process enhancements and initiatives.
  • Partner with Global Services stakeholders to monitor capital project spend, ensuring capital budgets accurately reflect current and projected project costs and support timely capitalization of completed projects in accordance with accounting policy.
  • Provide guidance on enhancements to the SG&A budgeting process to streamline planning cycles, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen ongoing financial analysis and decision support.
  • Serve as system administrator for SAC Capital & Workforce and Expense models.
  • Fully understand processes and system functionality impacts within each application and related system integrations.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver end‑to‑end business processes and training, including process documentation, roles and responsibilities, work instructions, and ongoing support for process administrators across enhancements and changes.
  • Manage escalated process troubleshooting, working directly with leadership teams and/or vendor support when necessary.
  • Evaluate software updates and conduct and oversee testing for process changes, software releases, and technology development.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and finance departments to clarify business issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain SAC dashboards, reporting solutions, and financial models to provide real-time insights and support forecasting processes.
