About The Position

As a Business Account Executive II at Sparklight, you will play a crucial role in connecting local businesses with the best connectivity products to enhance their operations. This position involves managing the entire sales process, from initial presentations to post-sales service, ensuring that businesses receive tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, and professional appearance with a goal-oriented and positive attitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A good general understanding of the telecommunications industry and strong community involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Presenting and selling Sparklight business-class services to businesses, including high broadband demand enterprise customers.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process from customer presentation to post-sales service.
  • Building and maintaining a healthy sales funnel through cold calling, referrals, and other lead generation techniques.
  • Upgrading services with existing clients by maintaining relationships and resolving customer issues.
  • Participating in community networking organizations and attending functions to develop business relationships.
