Business Operations Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The BCA Engineering Business Operations team is in search of a Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 3 or 4) in Everett, Washington. Position Responsibilities: Develop and manage directives for Engineering Business Operations. Manage projects and strategic initiatives. Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation. Provides frequent, clear, and concise communication to leadership within and external to the BCA Engineering and Business Operations organizations. Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals. Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies. Provides implementation direction for work authorization. Provides coaching and mentorship to less experienced personnel. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Requirements

  • 3+ years prior Business Operations or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • Experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules, mitigate risk and/or manage through.
  • 5+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion.
  • 5+ years of experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • 5+ years of experience with program/project oversight & metrics reporting.
  • Prior experience with Directives and Works Statement Authorization
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals.
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
