Responsibilities

  • Planning, deployment and operation of some of the largest capital projects in the world, involving billions of dollars of data center infrastructure and related IT hardware and energy systems
  • Development and rollout of internal systems to facilitate operational excellence and continuous improvement across Crusoe
  • Business development and commercial operations across energy, data center, and technology markets
  • Preparation and execution of key initiatives and operations, including quantitative and qualitative analysis of key decisions
  • Management of various projects and initiatives
  • Development of presentation materials to inform and influence key stakeholder groups internally and externally
  • Planning, development and implementation of operational processes and systems that enable Crusoe's growth while delivering on our core mission
  • Creation and implementation of playbooks and standard operating procedures
  • Development and management of Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Systems
  • Implementation of processes to clarify roles and responsibilities and improve decision making (e.g., RACI / RAPID)
  • Follow-through and operational implementation of new processes, including a feedback loop for continuous improvement and refinement
  • Identification of hotspots in the business that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with those business leaders to drive efficiency
  • Development, execution, and tracking of OKRs and KPIs in partnerships with team leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - engineering, business, science or a related field preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, venture capital, private equity, or as a founder
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time domestically and internationally
  • Able to break down complex business challenges using first-principles thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate at all altitudes - discussing strategy and vision with executives, and troubleshooting operations with individual contributors
  • Strong understanding of technical project management principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
