About The Position

Collaborates with key stakeholders to promote organizational effectiveness and transformational change through a variety of methods, including the use of our Culture work. Develops tools and processes to support organizational sustainability and agility to adapt to change. Collaborates with leaders to engage and retain employees. Supports leaders to implement identified organizational strategies to achieve our Key Results. Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital boasts 300 inpatient beds, inpatient acute rooms that are all private, and a Skilled Nursing Facility. The main hospital sits on a plush 45-acre campus complete with ponds and walking paths. We’re proud to offer a full-spectrum of health care services to our rural communities in Northern New York to keep care as close to home as possible. The Champlain Valley is characterized by its working landscapes; undulating hills, meadows and pastures rolling down to the waters of giant Lake Champlain, the largest lake in the U.S. behind the Great Lakes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Accounting, Business Administration, Health, or related field required.
  • Working knowledge of complex business and operational aspects of the health care industry including understanding of the market, financial and operational data required for planning, evaluation, and assessment of health care services.
  • Practice judgment, solid decision-making skills, and ability to solve problems in complex multivariate scenarios.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written required.
  • Strong organizational skill required.
  • Experience in complex analyses, strategic planning, business planning, facilities and/or operational planning including sophisticated financial modeling; budgeting and forecasting preferred.
  • Strong skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint required.

  • Master’s preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
