The Presidio Business Operations Clerk will make a direct impact on your community by serving as a vital point of contact at the courthouse. In this role, you'll assist the public with essential requests like providing court packets, making copies, and answering service-related questions. When the front desk quiets down, you'll switch gears to support and maintain the courthouse's printers and printing systems. This is a dynamic position for someone who enjoys a mix of face-to-face interaction and hands-on technical problem-solving. Ideal for a dependable, service-minded professional who values variety in their workday.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret and analyze printer error messages.
  • Ability to consult with users and assess their needs.
  • Skill at non-traditional problem-solving.
  • Ability to work well with supervisors, vendors, users, and other agencies.
  • Ability to work with individuals with differing levels of technical knowledge.
  • Ability to stage, configure, and install printers/copiers.
  • Knowledge to support multifunction printer devices.
  • Ability to perform cash transactions on cash register.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent experience and/or military experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Complete print requests received via walk-up, email, inter-office.
  • Answer phones for the general public, staff office, and agencies.
  • Manage copiers/printers including toner cartridges, jams, and setups.
  • Pack up and return used toner cartridges for recycling.
  • Maintain toner cartridge and printer repair supply inventory.
  • Schedule with Konica Minolta for broken/fixed copiers.
  • Handle walk-up counter print jobs from the general public.
  • Send and/or receive faxes for staff or counter customers.
  • Scan documents to email for staff or counter customers.
  • Order paper inventory and general office supplies.
  • Schedule equipment rentals and collect rental fees.
  • Perform cash register transactions and prepare deposits.
