The Business Operations ASO Lead will utilize technical and leadership skills, and advanced knowledge of the unit processes to support and provide advice and information as it relates to NHP RAE Region 2 SOW and ACC3.0 requirements. This position supports general business operations, questions, and supports work directed by the Director ASO Program Operations. If you reside in Colorado, you will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, related field, or the combination of education and experience in the healthcare field that would enable performance of the full scope of the position
  • Knowledge of Colorado Medicaid
  • Proven solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven to be self-motivated and disciplined to meet contractual deadlines and requirements
  • Resident of Colorado
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director with managing day-to-day operations of the ASO contract and direct oversight of the company's Medicaid RAE Region 2 ASO agreement
  • Assist and provide input on escalated calls from NHP members and/or providers
  • Provides education to RMHP, COPA, and enterprise operations staff regarding ASO SOW changes that are either impacted directly by ASO updates or ACC3.0 contractual updates that impacts the services of the ASO SOW
  • Helps support the monthly JOS meetings with NHP and RMHP leadership teams. Help anticipate potential contractual issues and/or misses through thought leadership and observation of health plan and enterprise performance. Reporting status to the Director ASO Program Ops directly and as needed
  • Assist and provide input on production issues that impact NHP members and providers
  • Helps monitor and ensure responsiveness and compliance with government contracts, directives and laws that govern Medicaid RAE and government programs activities
  • Assists in the development of filings, reports and billings for Medicaid RAE Region 2 are made accurately and on a timely basis meeting contractual obligation turnaround time
  • Develops and maintains effective interactions with all levels of the RMHP and NHP operations teams and Executive Leadership teams as required
  • Provides project management and support for new and expansion activities for NHP
  • Effectively manages and balances a variety of projects and competing priorities
  • Work proactively with other departments both at the enterprise as well as the health plan, to ensure processes and staff are aligned to provide excellent and efficient ASO services support
