About The Position

As the Business Office Supervisor, you will contribute to the company's mission, vision, and values by coordinating daily operations for the front office. This includes overseeing functions of scheduling, chart preparation, patient registration, and collecting patient deposits.

Requirements

  • Minimum (2) years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office).
  • Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • BLS may be required as per facility standard.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate business office employee schedules daily to ensure that assigned areas are staffed.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of chart preparation, data entry, and pre-certification as required by insurance plans and collections.
  • Reconcile daily front office collections.
  • Work with your nurse manager and/or nurse coordinator to ensure daily schedule is streamlined.
  • Maintain a blocked schedule list.
  • Responsible for opening and/or closing procedures of your facility based on hours worked.
  • Maintain a log for the center front desk petty cash fund.
  • Serve as backup for business office positions when needed.
