About The Position

The Retreat at Sandy Springs is seeking a Business Office Manager to join their team! The Business Office Manager reports directly to the Executive Director. This role supports community operations by maintaining office systems and administrative staff. Responsibilities include associate recognition and engagement, performance management and evaluations, and financial management related to business processes such as Payroll & Human Resources Administration. The position also involves monitoring and managing financial systems and key controls, as well as ensuring quality assurance in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; implementing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains office staff by managing the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of associates.
  • Maintains administrative staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Achieves financial objectives by implementing set budget; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
