Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business office management or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and office management software.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare or insurance billing systems is highly desirable.
  • Prefer experience in Long Term Care
  • Certification in office management, accounting (such as CPA), or project management (such as PMP).
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards relevant to the industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all business office functions including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate business office staff to ensure high-quality performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate financial activities and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to financial and administrative operations.
  • Handle vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes as needed.
  • Address and resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
