About The Position

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Business Office Manager to lead our business office operations in a long-term care setting. If you’re experienced in healthcare billing, trust fund management, and team leadership, we’d love to meet you!

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a long-term care business office (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing and collections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PointClickCare, and Resident Trust Accounts
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Must be able to positively interact with residents, family members, team members, visitors and government agencies as required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Ohio Medicaid Portal (PNM), myCGS, Insurance Portals, Level of Care requests and LTC Authorizations (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily business office functions
  • Responsible for timely Private Pay collections and statements
  • Manage billing for Medicare, Medicaid & Managed Care
  • Maintain resident trust accounts using RFMS
  • Ensure accurate census updates daily and verification of Insurance Benefits
  • Supervise and support office staff
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
  • Organizes, evaluates and monitors business office operations to ensure these functions are performed effectively and efficiently, including management of office staff.
