Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 1 year in a skilled nursing facility business office, including billing and trust accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing and insurance processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and National Data Care RFMS systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily business office operations, including billing, collections, accounts receivable/payable, and resident trust accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing for private pay, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance claims.
  • Provide financial guidance to residents and families, including payment plans and insurance inquiries.
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and corporate financial regulations.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
  • Supervise, train, and support business office staff to ensure high performance and exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve financial and operational goals.
