You will oversee the daily activities of the Business Office related to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Receipts (CM) and Payroll (PR) as well as provide assistance to the Executive Director and Department Directors in coordination with the central office accounting team. What you’ll be doing: Oversee daily Business Office operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Receipts (CM), and Payroll (PR), while supporting the Executive Director, Department Directors, and central office accounting team. Champion PRS Mission, Vision, and Core Values by fostering a culture of integrity, service, and accountability in all business office functions. Assign appropriate general ledger cost centers and spend categories to incoming invoices to ensure accurate financial coding and reporting, Scan and enter invoices into the Accounts Payable system, routing them for timely review and approval, Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquires, resolving issues related to payments and account discrepancies. Handle Accounts Receivable tasks such as entering charges, processing resident statements, monitoring AR aging, managing admissions/discharges/census changes, and resolving sensitive billing issues with residents and providers. Balance petty cash, process daily deposits, maintain accurate cashier logs, and complete the cash management workbook to ensure financial records align with the General Ledger.   • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in full circle accounting, accounts payable, or business office administration preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting, generally a result of a college or business training program.
  • General understanding of internal control procedures, accounting principles and best practices, effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, accounting software and other relevant business applications.
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task effectively, with proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Point Click Care and real estate is a plus.
  • Exposure to Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing environments preferred.
