About The Position

The Business Office Manager (BOM) at Klarus Home Health is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions and staff within the home health offices located in Fort Worth, Dallas, and Granbury, TX. This role serves as the local point of contact for various administrative areas, including billing, purchasing, human resources, and communication. The BOM coordinates systems and procedures to ensure efficient operations and acts as a liaison between corporate and local branches to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required or 4 years of experience as a Business Office Manager in a home health/hospice agency.
  • Minimum 2+ years in an office management role in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Solutions-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all administrative functions and staff in the home health offices.
  • Serve as the local point of contact for billing, purchasing, human resources, and communication.
  • Coordinate systems and procedures with medical records, data entry, claims review, and personnel functions.
  • Ensure continuous coverage in all administrative areas through appropriate staffing assignments and workload distribution.
  • Screen, interview, and make hiring decisions for non-clinical administrative staff.
  • Maintain personnel records and track licensure and mandatory training.
  • Review payroll timesheets and reimbursement requests for accuracy before submission to corporate payroll.
  • Provide reports related to billing and oversee medical records and claims review for compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor and control office and medical supply orders and prepare inventory control reporting.
  • Act as a resource during regulatory audits and update staff on new regulatory procedures.
