About The Position

The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) at Atherton Endoscopy Center plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Office Manager by overseeing the daily operations of the Registration and Medical Records departments. This position ensures efficient management of these areas and steps in to manage the business office in the absence of the Business Office Manager. The BOC is integral to maintaining the organization's mission, vision, and values while delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in business office operations, preferably in healthcare or an ASC setting.
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience managing staff in Registration and Medical Records.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable systems, with an emphasis on managing contracts and financial reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to dynamic environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in financial reports and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in managing medical records and healthcare administrative functions.
  • Familiarity with ASC or healthcare-specific business office systems.
  • Experience with cash receipts reconciliation and financial reporting.
