Requirements

  • Associate's degree and one year of experience or high school diploma/equivalent and five years related to the duties of this position.
  • Experience communicating professionally verbally and in writing.
  • Experience documenting existing and new processes.
  • Experience in gathering, interpreting, reporting, and/or editing information.
  • Experience meeting project deadlines.
  • Experience organizing, prioritizing, and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online project management applications.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, communications, or social sciences.
  • Ability to assist Spanish-speaking callers.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply relevant University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the Program Coordinator with administrative support to ensure effective operations (e.g., filing, emailing, data entry, and retrieval).
  • Maintain and update program calendars, shared spreadsheets, databases, and tracking logs.
  • Assist with day-to-day program logistics and documentation needs.
  • Answer and triage phone calls to the Safe Mobility for Life Resource Center toll-free line and direct callers to appropriate resources.
  • Respond to and/or forward resource center emails.
  • Process, prepare, and mail resource center material requests.
  • Maintain and restock inventory of all materials and supplies.
  • Provide support at local outreach events, as needed.
