About The Position

Boater’s World Marine Centers in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager (F&I Manager) to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full finance and insurance process for our dealership, ensuring exceptional customer experience, maximizing profitability, and maintaining full compliance with all state and federal regulations. This is a key leadership position within the sales department and works closely with Sales Managers, Service, and Administration to support smooth and efficient dealership operations.

Requirements

  • Previous F&I Manager or Business Manager experience preferred, automotive or marine dealership experience strongly desired
  • Strong understanding of financing programs, contracts, retail installment laws, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Proven track record of achieving F&I performance goals and profitability targets
  • Ability to maintain organization, accuracy, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in dealership software such as CDK, DealerTrack, RouteOne, or similar platforms (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Present financing options, warranty products, service plans, and protection packages to customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Secure financing through a network of lenders and maintain strong working relationships with banks and financial institutions
  • Structure, negotiate, and finalize all F&I deals to maximize dealership profitability while ensuring complete customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and review all contracts, paperwork, and required documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure all F&I processes adhere to state and federal laws including FTC, DMV, OFAC, and privacy regulations
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a smooth workflow and assist in closing deals
  • Maintain high levels of product knowledge around financing programs, service agreements, insurance options, and aftermarket products
  • Reconcile funding, manage C.I.T., and ensure timely processing of all deals
  • Train and support sales staff on proper deal structure, compliance, and product presentation
  • Assist with daily reporting and contribute to departmental performance goals
