About The Position

As a CARF-accredited and state-licensed leader in juvenile justice, we operate a specialized campus dedicated to the rehabilitation and successful reintegration of youth. We are seeking a high-impact Business Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our organization. If you are a seasoned professional who thrives on optimizing resources, negotiating high-level contracts, and ensuring operational excellence, we want to hear from you. As the Business Manager, you aren’t just behind a desk—you are the architect of the essential services that keep our mission moving. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will have the authority to negotiate agreements and oversee the operational support for two secure residential facilities.

Requirements

  • Experienced Leader: You bring 3–5+ years of progressive experience in operations or business administration, ideally within a residential, healthcare, or juvenile justice setting.
  • Educationally Grounded: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Operations (Master’s preferred).
  • A Skilled Negotiator: You have a proven track record of securing favorable vendor contracts and managing complex professional relationships.
  • Detail-Oriented & Analytical: You are proficient in ERP systems and Excel, with a keen eye for financial integrity and internal controls.
  • Mission-Aligned: You are ready to pass a comprehensive background check to work with vulnerable populations and uphold our high standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day campus activities and implement best-practice policies to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Strategic Procurement: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing vendors to negotiating favorable contracts for food services, maintenance, and security.
  • Financial Stewardship: Take charge of vendor billing, expense approvals, and budget forecasting to ensure every dollar supports our mission.
  • Campus Oversight: Ensure our facilities are safe and functional by managing maintenance schedules, security system operations, and our vehicle fleet.
