Business Manager, Perioperative Services
About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Business Manager for our Perioperative Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Business Manager you will: • Assist with development of and tracking of operational and capital budgets • Participate in collaborative teams in the selection of equipment, supplies and surgical instrumentation, as well as supply storage and database management • Manage the assessment of strategic surgical services’ business needs through data and evidence-based practices • Provide project management expertise for surgical services’ strategies and action plans • Provide leadership for the Product Review Committee. He/she provides leadership and human resource management of surgical support staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required (i.e. business, finance or healthcare management
- Expertise in business management tools required (i.e. Excel, Access, Office word-processing programs, PowerPoint
- Ability to produce financial reports in timely and accurate manner
- Ability to communicate with multiple audiences: physicians, staff, administration
- Comprehensive communication skills required
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience in acute care financial management preferred
