About The Position

Responsible for the General Internal Medicine Division’s fiscal and administrative oversight, and accountable to the Internal Medicine Chair, Department Administrator, and Division Chief for adherence to all UNMC and Nebraska Medicine policies & procedures. Coordinate the division’s business affairs, manage its non-faculty personnel, and work with Nebraska Medicine regarding the division’s finances, clinical billing, and collection activities. Work with multiple partner organizations ( UNMC , Nebraska Medicine, Children’s and the VA) to accomplish the educational, research and clinical goals of the department and division. Collaborate with the Division Chief on long range planning and development, management to coordinate the division’s business affairs, and productivity measures. Responsible for multiple budget preparation. Collaborate with the Nebraska Medicine Primary Care Service Line management regarding financial and clinical matters.
