About The Position

Manage all financial activity for the Department of Gastrointestinal to include yearly budgeting, tracking, and reporting. Assist the Department Administrator with internal/external projects to include associated contracts and proposals. Job Description Essential Functions: Enterprise endoscopy analytics : Define, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics for the endoscopy service line. Present data-driven insights to leadership to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes. Develop strategic plans : Drive program growth and service expansion, with a focus on advanced endoscopy. Identify market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and create business plans to increase service offerings and optimize resource allocation. Enterprise GI conferences : Assist in the comprehensive planning and execution of enterprise GI conferences and meetings, including managing logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships. U.S. News & World Report liaison : Collaborate with GI division chiefs, physicians, and other stakeholders on projects designed to improve the institution's reputation and ranking scores. Hospital VP analytics support : Provide comprehensive analytical support for the hospital Vice President regarding procedural area operations. Analyze performance data, identify trends, and develop reports to inform high-level strategic decisions Other Functions: Directs, plans and manages the budgets in alignment with the department and hospital goals. (Prepares with the Administrator the annual JUP budget, University and Medical college budget.) Responsible for maintaining department metric reports Reviews and summarizes financial data for the JUP practice, University and TJUH Responsible for strategic development: program development, educational courses Works on interdisciplinary teams and projects to further the overall goals of the organization. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required.
  • Minimal two years financial/budgetary experience
