The Associate Business Manager Floater will be responsible for directing the management of finances and providing business office support for assigned units within the university. This role serves as a vital resource and liaison between the department and both the college and central offices, ensuring proper interpretation and implementation of University, Federal, State, and sponsoring agency policies and procedures. The position requires close collaboration with central business service operations and other related entities to align with the strategic goals of the University. A key aspect of this role involves the preparation of financial and management reports that support long-range planning forecasts, budget recommendations, and financial analysis. The Associate Business Manager will also engage in strategic financial management of college resources, ensuring that the department maintains excellent business management support for Department Heads, Directors, faculty, staff, and students. This position is designed to be utilized on a temporary, as-needed basis, filling in for staff in similar roles during extended absences or turnover. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility based on the candidate's location and interest, with an expectation to be on campus 1-2 times a month or as directed by departmental needs. The starting salary for this position is approximately $55,300 per year, plus benefits.
