About The Position

The role of the Business Management System Supervisor consists of, but is not limited to, administering and enhancing the Quality Management System and the Environmental Management System. Functions include leading the ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and ISO 14001:2015 programs as the designated management representative, acting as an internal consultant regarding the impact of business changes have on these programs, and making the necessary adjustments to maintain conformance. This position oversees the Business Management System team that is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the QMS, SMS and EMS and creates appropriate training plans. They will also assess the requirements necessary for supporting customer needs and accomplishing process objectives. Evaluate and implement customer specific requirements. Facilitate training, ensure site personnel understand quality and environmental objectives. Review the system performance and conduct management reviews. Coordinate the audit program to ensure a robust process is maintained. Bestmark across the operating divisions and share knowledge with other coordinators.   Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience in management system componets
  • ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor
  • Demonstrated use of AIAG Core Tools

  • ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and/or ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor
  • Prior leadership experience with direct reports

Responsibilities
