As a Business Management Manager - Manager Level 2 (Mid-Level Manager), your role at Magna, UT will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, pricing/cost estimating, contracts, program control, or other related business management function – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience.
  • Earned Value Proficiency includes the Earned Value Guidelines.
  • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Strong experience operating within highly compliant business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.
  • Experience in establishing a program baseline or significant experience in developing time phased pricing or estimating forecasts.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
  • MBA or a Master’s Degree in a Business related field.
  • Prior experience supporting large complex proposal activities.
  • Experience with financial forecasting systems including any of the following: TM-1, Hyperion, or COGNOS.
  • Experience with TM1 financial forecasting system & earned value management system.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.

Responsibilities

  • Leading all aspects of program financial execution objectives.
  • Ensuring effective compliance with EVMS requirements.
  • Providing accurate and timely inputs to business systems supporting financial forecasting and profitability determination.
  • Leading Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs), Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance engagements.
  • Leading Program Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/ Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
  • Identifying issues and making recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation.
  • Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis.
  • Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review.
  • Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff.
  • Lead the integration of financial planning and forecasting for all Interceptor and Targets programs.
  • Oversee and ensure quality of cost and schedule data delivered to internal customers, including EVMS reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues and make recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
