The AVP supports the Business management Team within the Corporate Banking Department of BOCNYB, working closely with managers and account officers to support daily oprations. This role also leverages expertise in multimedia production (video and photography), graphic design, and brand management to strengthen the Bank’s market presence, while ensuring all external communications and visual outputs align with Head Office and Branch corporate identity guidelines. Working closely with Relationship Managers and Senior Leadership, the AVP leads the development of high-quality marketing collateral and supports client engagement events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in business, financial, accounting, economics or marketing design is required, or equivalent professional experence.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Basic knowledge in common software, such as Microsoft office, financial spread sheet, and corporate analysis skills, etc.
  • Possess professional expertise in design principles and visual communication.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and writing is a must

Nice To Haves

  • A master degree is preferred.
  • bilingual ability in Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Teammates to research market conditions and development, and analyze industry prospects by gathering information about growth, competitors, market share possibilities, supply and demand, write market information analysis report on both a daily and monthly basis.
  • Prepare loan and deposit statistical data for reporting purposes.
  • Analyze current market conditions for syndicated loan facilities, track comparable loan transactions in the market, and prepare pitch books for customers or prospect customers.
  • Participate in special assignments and other duties as assigned.
  • Write department semi-annually business report and annual business reports to department head, GM, HO.
  • Monitor monthly performance of the department and write monthly reports for Department Manager and Office of the General Manager.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to identify marketing needs and provide creative solutions that enhance client acquisition and retention.
  • Support the Business Management Team in daily operational tasks related to event logistics and media archiving.
  • Provide assistance with the completion of risk and compliance assessments.
  • Understand and comply with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Process transactions in accordance to the Bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g. AML, BSA, OCC, EAR, and others).
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and understand regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audits in providing requested documentations in a timely manner.
  • Lead the end-to-end production of visual assets, including professional photography and video recording for corporate events, client activities, and internal communications.
  • Execute post-production tasks such as video editing, color grading, and image retouching to produce broadcast-quality materials.
  • Design and produce marketing materials (digital and print) to support business development initiatives.
  • Act as the brand guardian for the Corporate Banking Department, ensuring all external communications and visual outputs align with the Head Office and NY Branch’s corporate identity guidelines.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design compelling presentations and promotional materials for high-level client meetings.
  • Manage the visual strategy for departmental events, ensuring a consistent and professional brand image across all touchpoints.
