Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY, is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor in our Business Administration program to teach classes in Principles of Management BUS-230 and Human Resource Management BUS-231: Principles of Management BUS-230: This course is a study of the management process with a survey of managerial and organizational theories. Specific topics will include planning, organizing, supervision, control, labor relations, and decision-making. Human Resource Management BUS-231: This course is a study in the major areas of Human Resource Management. It includes recruitment, selection, job analysis, training, job evaluation, wage and salary administration, and labor relations. The course specifically addresses the human resource manager's responsibility for development of employee potential within an environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion for all members of an organization. Adjunct Instructors are responsible for all aspects of preparation, instruction, and classroom management. These include but are not limited to learning management system (LMS) integration and maintenance, instruction and content delivery, preparing and grading assignments and exams, timely responses to student inquiries, and assessing student performance relative to standardized learning objectives. These courses are taught on campus face-to-face instruction.
